First Solar is looking for a Workforce Development Specialist I to join their team in Trinity Alabama. This is an entry level position built for someone who genuinely loves teaching and helping people grow. The role sits inside a team responsible for recruiting training and developing production operations and maintenance associates.
If you are passionate about education and want to be part of a growing training program this job gives you a real starting point. You will work closely with production leadership and cross functional teams to build training content that actually makes a difference on the floor. This is an on-site position and not available for remote work.
This role is not just paperwork and slides. You will be hands-on in shaping how new associates learn their jobs from day one.

You won’t have anyone reporting directly to you in this role. It’s an individual contributor position which means your growth here comes from mastering your craft rather than managing a team.

On the education side First Solar prefers candidates who are actively working toward a degree in a technical field HR organizational development or something in STEM. That said practical skills in developing training material working in teams and handling data reporting will carry a lot of weight too.
